Labour War Goes On

LABOUR leadership hopeful Emily Thornberry has this morning told Andrew Marr that it was a "disaster" to go for an election rather than a referendum on Boris Johnson's Brexit deal.

Despite admitting she's been a slow starter in the leadership race she said, “I’m fairly confident I will get across the line.”

Emily Thornberry also said that the UK taxpayer should continue to pay for security of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

This morning Rebecca Long Bailey called for the House of Lords to be abolished.
