Corbyn Questions Iran Strike

JEREMY Corbyn has written to the Prime Minister asking for an urgent privy council briefing on the US airstrike that killed a top Iranian general.

The Labour leader is set to raise questions over what the UK knew in advance and communications with White House since the action took place.

The news comes despite a statement earlier pointing out that Boris Johnson was not warned in advance about the US airstrike in Iraq that killed a top Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
