Tory Amendments To WAB

THE DUP have tabled amendments to the Withdrawal Agreement Bill [WAB] which, amongst other things, would make a deal depend on a cross community vote at Assembly level, TBG can sensationally reveal.

They have also tabled an amendment proposing, “no customs declaration may be requested or required in relation to any movement of goods within the UK customs territory intended to remain within the UK customs territory.”

Amendments have also tabled in name of James Brokenshire, Karen Bradley and David Liddington promoting "unfettered access to the market within GB, of qualifying NI goods and trade between NI and GB, and having regard to NI's integral place within the UK internal market.
