Government Won't Compromise Over Brexit Deal Integrity

THE Government is saying that they "won't compromise over the integrity" of Boris Johnson's Brexit deal.

TBG understands that Labour will vote against the second reading of the Brexit Withdrawl Agreement Bill and against the programme timetable motion.

There could be as many as 30 rebels on the Second Reading but only up to 15 on the programme motion.

Mark Harper told TBG - “Anyone who votes against or tries to amend the Programme Motion on the Withdrawal Agreement Bill tomorrow cannot hide in plain sight.”

“They will be frustrating Brexit and the House of Commons ability to deliver on the EU referendum result.”

A Downing Street source told TBG that - "If Parliament votes again for delay by voting down the programme motion and the EU offers delay until 31 Jan then we will pull the Bill, there will be no further business for Parliament and we'll move to an election before Christmas."
