The Filibustering Resistance

BORIS loyalists in The Lords have tabled 90 amendments so far tonight to an opposition business motion for tomorrow which is designed to find time to debate the anti no deal bill.

A Minister in The Lords told TBG that the government are trying to block rebels from an ‘unprecedented’ move to guillotine debates if the bill is passed in Commons and then comes to The Lords.

Supporters of Boris in The Lords are hoping to have two votes on each of the 90 amendments.

A spokesman told TBG - "Hopefully this will take up 90 hours!"

Filibustering at its best. >> You heard it on TBG first! <<
