Sir John Major Calls For Cummings To Be Sacked

SIR John Major has tonight sensationally called for the sacking of Boris Johnson's closest adviser and the head of Vote Leave Dominic Cummings.

Mr Major, who is backing a court case tomorrow to have prorogue declared illegal, said MPs were being forced to support the views of a Prime Minister influenced by Mr Cummings, “who cares not a fig for the future of the party I have served all my life."

TBG thinks this stinks of hypocrisy.

Sir John Major himself prorogued Parliament during the 'Cash for Questions' scandal in 1997 and signed away UK sovereignty to Brussels under the Treaty of Maastricht in 1992.

Mr Major also called for the reinstatement of 21 Tory rebels including Caroline "Naughty" Nokes even though many of them have now confirmed that they won’t be standing at the next election.

The news comes at the same time as the Telegraph report tonight that Mr Cummings was a major driver behind the purge and unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at at one of the rebels, the former Business Secretary Greg Clark who refused to allow any no Deal planning under Theresa May.
