Double Sausage Trouble for UKIP as Hancock Attempts Another Comeback.

THERE'S Double Trouble for Ukip in Hampshire today.

Kim Rose, who is standing in the ultra-marginal Southampton Itchen, is to be questioned over allegations he tried to influence voters by giving away sausage rolls at a party event featuring snooker star Jimmy White on 21st February at a community centre in Weston.

Electoral Commission rules state food and entertainment cannot be provided by candidates to "corruptly influence" votes.

And Paul Lovegrove's decision to stand for Ukip in the Fratton Ward of Portsmouth has been greeted with horror by campaigners.

Mr Lovegrove has served two prison sentences - one for wounding with intent in 1996 and one for actual bodily harm in 2000.

Meanwhile, it's emerged that as well as standing as an Independent Parliamentary Candidate in Portsmouth South, Mike Hancock is also standing for the Fratton Ward he used to represent on Portsmouth City Council too.

Hancock's victim "Annie" told TBG last week that his decision to stand for Parliament was repugnant so TBG can only wonder what she thinks to this?
