Labour on The Side of Those Claiming Benefits.

Yet again we see even more statistics that show how the Government's Long Term Economic Plan is well and truly working.

When the Conservatives came to power in 2010 Britain was gripped in recession, unemployment was on the up and welfare dependency was stopping people from getting on with their lives.

How times have changed.

These figures not just see a welcome fall in unemployment but the employment rate itself rising to 73.1% which is equal to the record high of 2005.

They also show that the government’s Long-Term Economic Plan is helping to create jobs as the economy grows following the deepest recession since the 1930s.

Even the number of women in work also reached a new record of 14.2 million, with the female employment rate now at 68.1% and youth unemployment now 127,000 lower than in 2010.

What this shows is where as Labour were on the side of those claiming benefits including many that could work but chose not to, only the Conservatives stand up for the hard working people of Britain.
