Miliband Says He'll Take on Unions Whom Provide 80% of Labour Funding.

Red Ed Miliband is to take on the unions in Labour reform (Express July 9th).

I will believe that when I see it.

Let us not forget that the unions are the very people that got him elected in the first place.

The unions provide 80% of all Labour funding.

And the very union at the heart of this scandal has a Leader who called for a General Strike during the 2012 Olympic Games.

So of course they are going to want something back in return for their money.

No business would want otherwise.

However, if Red Ed Miliband really wants to distance himself from the unions he shouldn't just scrap the affiliation fee but he should also pay the money back that the unions have given the party since he became Labour Leader.
