EXCLUSIVE: Tory UNISON Delegate Gagged by Union Bosses at Conference.

TRADE UNION leaders have held an emergency meeting to SILENCE a Full Union Delegate from speaking at its conference about questionable motions that have little to do with trade union issues such as NATO membership and Palestine, tbg can reveal.

The Cheshire and Wirral Community Health Branch held the emergency meeting last Friday (14 June) in order to sensationally impose limits on the delegates' speaking and voting at this weeks National Delegate Conference, which began today.

Following a series of Tweets from the Branch Chair', Tara Hewitt, in which it was shared that she was intending to speak against some of the motions put forward by the UNISON leadership, just two days later the emergency meeting request was received by the Branch Secretary via email. The email failed to include Branch Chair' Hewitt on the recipient list.

Sources have revealed to tbg that a long-term sick Labour Councillor Candidate was encouraged to attend so the quoracy was met, a rule that ensures the minimal number of officers and members of a committee are present to validate any outcome of an 'official' meeting. On this occasion, the usual quoracy number of 7 was reduced to 5, this was the exact number of attendees out of a membership of around 1500 - this is within the union's rules.

One source told tbg that - "UNISON Trade Union Leaders went to so much effort to organise something that doesn't take place at most branches across the UK."

Cheshire and Wirral Community Health Branch Chair' Tara Hewitt is an outspoken Conservative Party Member & Activist, whom recently spoke at UNISON National Health Conference in April announcing her membership to delegates during a speech on conference floor. This shockingly lead to trade union leaders behind her on camera pulling horrendous faces, shocked & embarrassed at her revelation.

The stitch up to gag the Tory UNISON Branch Chair' by union leaders also comes at a time when discourse about potential corrupt lobbying is popular and the role trade unions play in this. A branch member told tbg - "It seems clear that UNISON Leaders are willing to stop at nothing to silence members they disagree with."

Latest figures suggest 20-30% of UNISON members are Conservative Party supporters and a Populus poll had similar numbers for UNITE's membership in 2009 with 33% Conservative supporters within its membership.

A UNISON member spoke out today telling tbg that - "It appears the Unions are out to stifle debate when it does not fit their own agenda."

The truth will out. This is only one side.Tara "playing" a silly game and i hope no one will "play" her for political mischief. as she states herself she is prone to health issues which could leave her vulnerable to exploitation.

Attacking a passionate tory for challenging the hard left? I despair reading comments on here sometimes

She tripped a waiter, so what? That's almost polite compared to the time S-J S shaved a Barbary Ape and tortured it with electrodes.

Tara Hewitt could fit this description symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder
In order for a person to be diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) they must meet five or more of the following symptoms:

Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
Requires excessive admiration
Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
Regularly shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
As with all personality disorders, the person must be at least 18 years old before they can be diagnosed with it.

Narcissistic personality disorder is more prevalent in males than females, and is thought to occur in less than 1 percent in the general population.

Like most personality disorders, narcissistic personality disorder typically will decrease in intensity with age, with many people experiencing few of the most extreme symptoms by the time they are in the 40s or 50s.

Labelling people as having specific mental health disorders in an anonymous trolling fashion says more about you as an abuser than it does me. Im quite happy to speak openly in public sad that some people prefer to sit cowardly at a key board throwing insults at people.

@Tara why did you make a Wikipedia page about yourself? You're not Chuka Umunna!

I'm surprised this article hasn't mentioned the fact that apparently the Tory Party were referred to as Nazis at the Conference as well. I personally think it is shameful that a person who declares herself a trade unionist is attacking the very union she is branch chair for!! I have been following Tara Hewitt's tweets since the start of the conference and I am appalled at her behaviour towards her fellow colleagues within the union. At no point was this female gagged from speaking at this conference, at no point did a labour party member "run up and called a point of order because they were panicky when they saw that she was about to speak", this, in my view, is quite simply a sad game played by this female trying to portray UNISON in a bad light. Unfortunately, all of the other members at conference know that all of Tara's tweets about what occurred at conference are lies. If they were true she had ample opportunity to make a formal complaint, which she failed to do, instead took to twitter to troll everyone. Tara, if what it says about you is true and you will be running for MP in 2014 in your area, i'm afraid to say your actions and the way you are portraying yourself to the public will not go in your favour. Please grow up.

Well know fact Conserative MP's do not want to be associated with her and dread the begging calls to "help" them. This advice has been passed on from "on high" affectionately known as TOXIC TARA

Be nice if people had genuine points or discussion I find it sad that some people spend their time sending personal abuse at people anonymously online.

It would be good if the 'story, was factual, rather than a deluded exageration, which has driven everyone on twitter bonkers all week! TH is not that important to be gagged and could have easliy found a way at conference to have her say, but chose a weasly excuse to get out of it. TH is not that significant an individual to have everyone runnng around trying to gag her at confernece, but all unions and branches will meet to discuss what motions they agree to etc as do Labour, Tories, Lib Dems and any other organisation. The truth will come out shortly and am sure will confirm what most people think that TH is on her own selfish mision of seeking self glory and will use any method possible to seek the attention she craves.

Tara you have no moral high ground, after hiding behind a cloak of secrecy in an attempt to destroy the career of someone you are profoundly jealous of. Deluging an employer’s confidential information; a criminal offence; for your malicious hate filled agenda.
It's interesting one of "your own" will campaign against you if you "stand" can you not see how divisive you are. Your past wrong doing will come back to haunt you as you have deployed this tactic, frequently, against others.

Tara is a breath of fresh air into the regional party. Whilst the usual trolls may dish out the usual vitriolic bile, the more sane (and tax paying members) often find that she is talking sense and that unions aren't our enemy, their have simply been overridden by our enemies.

Fight back you pussies and stop attacking each other.

Grow up!

Tara Hewitt to be a candidate for 2015? You've got to be having a laugh!

Anonymous said...

I'm a taxpayer, thanks, and I don't think TH makes any sense at all, and spends so much time herself, trolling twitter, spouting out inaccurate views and opinions, and it amazes me that others report these facts as 'news' without checking accuracy first. If TH does stand for election in 2015 then be prepared for a mass exodus of voters!
