Tory Youth Wing Leader says Politics is Broken and Party Needs a Revolution of Mavericks.

Conservative Future Chairman Ben Howlett has called on the Tory Party to have a "revolution of mavericks" in a leading British newspaper today, in response to his Party's drubbing in the Eastleigh by-election. The Conservatives were pushed into 3rd spot by UKIP with the Lib Dems holding the seat.

Tory Youth Brigade Leader gave painfully honest analysis to the Telegraph, saying:

"We were stuck in the Westminster bubble. We were talking about national issues while the Lib Dems were talking about the green belt, airport expansion, local business rates, local jobs."

"Politics in this country is broken. Now there needs to be a revolution of mavericks coming into politics, people that are prepared to champion local issues."
