Holmes in poll landslide at Tory Youth election hustings.

Holmes dominated the hustings event and looked ready to lead. The MVEECF Committee, including Chairman Ross Butcher, Deputy Chair' (membership) Fiona Drummond, Deputy Chair' (political) Helen Davies and Finance Officer Alex Buchanan, unanimously decided to back Paul Holmes for National Chairman.

After the event Holmes said - "I congratulate MVEECF on organising this, the first national event, in such a short space of time and welcome the endorsement.

Hopefully the ideas put forward by Charlotte and I to: offer a mentor initiative with MPs and leading Conservative think tanks, launch a Social Outreach Programme to counter negative perceptions and secure better networking and debating opportunities at Conservative Party Conference, are resonating with the Conservative Future grassroots."
