New twist in EU budget row.

There's a fresh twist in the EU Funding row this morning after auditors refused to sign off their accounts for the 18th year in a row and the Budget Commissioner Janusz Lewandowski admitted that "We can't finance more Europe with less money". The news has once again put the wind up Tory Backbenchers.

Mark Reckless told tbg. this morning that the news would "increase anger amongst backbenchers" and "accentuate concerns MPs have over increased spending."

Douglas Carswell praised Mr Lewandowski's honesty saying that "I wish our own ministers would show the same candour."
