Hannan enters EU row.

Relations between the Conservatives and UKIP are not that good this week after a UKIP Member was refused entry to conference.

So last night maybe wasn't the best time to talk of a potential deal between the Conservatives and UKIP at the next election. Nevertheless, that's what South East England Conservative Euro MP Daniel Hannan proposed at a fringe meeting.

Mr. Hannan said it was vital that "Conservative and UKIP voters could back the same candidates" to keep Labour's Ed Miliband out of office and prevent him from "emptying The Treasury" all over again.

Daily Express Chief Political Commentator Patrick O'Flynn also entered the row by praising the 81 Conservative MPs who recently defied a three line whip in a major House of Commons vote.
