EXCLUSIVE: Conservative Future Essay War.

CONSERVATIVE FUTURE'S (CF) National Executive have announced an essay writing competition for activists to take part, with a chance of winning a signed copy of Margaret Thatcher: Personality and Power by Jonathan Aitken, tbg can reveal.

Tory Youth National Deputy Chairman Sarah-Jane Sewell told tbg - "Bloomsbury publishing are kindly offering a signed copy of 'Margaret Thatcher: Personality and Power' by Jonathan Aitken for the winner of a short essay competition that is to be judged by the CF National Exec' team."

The essay topic is - 'How did the personality & politics of Margaret Thatcher affect the young people of today?'

Submissions should be 750 - 1000 words and submitted by December 12th to the competition organiser and CF National Executive Strategy Team Member Luke Springthorpe [luke.springthorpe@conservativefuture.com], the result is set to be announced on December 18th.

Sewell said - "Names of essay Authors will be withheld from the national executive in order for judging to be impartial."

funny how SJ is jumping on this 'impartiality' stuff when if you look on the CF group it was Jasmine who highlighted this and brought it to the organiser's attention!

Incompetant as ever SJ

typical tbg censorship - comments aren't showing because they are negative to SJ.

lets be honest, SJ sent this in herself. MASSIVE NONSTORY

THE BOOK IS £16 online. rather pay that then have slimeballs such as SJ judging!

Are we to expect another acceptance video when she awards herself the winner of that competition too?

Dear Anon 10.38,

The competition was already going to be judged in such a way. The complainers should have more faith in the impartiality of the National Executive.

Thanks.

Can someone explain to me why on Gods green earth are the essays being sent to Luke Springthorpe?? Is he on the national exec??? Is he anything???? Weird.

Awww poor Jasmine worried that daddies money wont be able to help her win this one?

If you stopped drinking your life away and whoring at KFC, you might be able to write something coherent and not have to buy the book.

REALLY?

CFers do not have time to write another essays. We are far too busy, I don't know about RHUL but where I am at... we are learning.

jasmine doesnt live off her 'daddies money' she has a job in events, maybe if you were invited to her parties you'd know this.

dear anon 11.10.

when posting about competitions maybe the organisers should be more prudent and clarify details .

funny how defensive people are getting calling them 'complainers' - we're not all sleeping with the exec so can't all expect to win by these means.

Maybe it's just me but this seems like a lot of hot air.

In grown up competitions they have rule and would have initally stated this impartiality clause.

CFers failed to do this to start with and are now getting annoyed at the fact their error was highlighted.

It has been addressed and all parties understand.

Quite frankly anyone entering would be as concerned as me at the thought of SJ having the final say on who would win - she isn't nice to any of us.

Anonymous said...

So we are meant to email these to national exec member's boyfriend and expect this whole thing to be 'impartial'.

Who keeps stuff from who they are sleeping with?

No wonder people were concerned!

Don't pull the wool over my eyes said...

the lack of confidence in SJ as a CF national exec member as a judge says it all!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY IN HELL IS HER BF LUKE the one we send entries to?

I smell a RAT

We're onto you said...

comments from the non existent Louise Richards, SJ's fam?

COINCIDENCE

Nice try said...

haha 11.11

Funny how ironic your comment is - if Jasmine really wanted the book surely she'd buy it with so called 'daddy's money'.

OR maybe she'd make a fake video awarding herself the prize? OH WAIT NO that's what SJ does.

HA faith in the national executive?

Apart from Cooper they are all a bunch on title-lovers who are ineffective.

Good on those that have the balls to speak up for the rest of us.

Like hell would it be impartial!

Luke Springthorpe? Is that the little tiny guy? Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. It is so painfully obvious that Louise Richards is SJ. I heard she treated her ex boyfriend badly as well, not good!

Anonymous said...

Luke is the guy that campaigned for sj during the election but also for jasmine! Classy guy.

Anonymous said...

How will Luke find time to read them? He'll be at Helms Deep trying to destroy the ring.

Anonymous said...

My nose has only just healed after my vicious facepalm over that SJ acceptance video.

Anonymous said...

Christ Mahyar, give it a rest.

Also - what has Springthorpe done to warrant that kind of attack? Apart from the rather piss poor life choice that led him to become SJ's boyfriend, he's a nice guy. It's a sad reflection on yourselves that you have nothing better to attack him on than his height.
