'No Confidence' Chairmen Quit Tories and Join UKIP.

CRAWLEY TORY ASSOCIATION Leaders Lee Gilroy and Karl Williamson, whom recently received a landslide vote of 'No Confidence' by local members and councillors, have today sensationally quit the Conservatives and joined UKIP, tbg can reveal.

After weeks of complaints and disruption local Tories in Crawley are said to be "delighted" at the news that Gilroy and Williamson have "finally gone".

Gilroy and Williamson have been hanging on by a thread since their Association passed a motion of 'No Confidence' on their leadership. Deputy Karl Williamson is quoted as saying he would only resign from the association if party members "hired a hitman" - and Gilroy strongly refuting allegations of persistent bullying saying he'd never bow to pressure and resign.

For once you're picking up the story after the local news, have you been busy at the giggling squid? :-)

If anyone sees that bike can they let me know as it was stolen and this photo was originally used to highlight bike theft. Thankyou for keep using this photo as it may help.

Gilroy doesn't seem much of a 'catch' from UKIP's point of view. He's not an elected Councillor, and his masonic affiliation might not help - unless UKIP is the new 'home' for such people.

Williamson neither - although at least he's an elected Councillor.

If I was a UKIP member (which thankfully I'm not) I would welcome them with a non-masonic handshake - but certainly not with open arms and a hug.

Are you really still banging on about Freemasona

Lol! Something tells me UKIP didn't read The Blue Guerilla before signing them up. All the warning signs of trouble are here.

Crawley Tories fractious civil war is seriously damaging this town.

So, one ex-cllr who got voted out when the electorate realised just how crap he was and a current cllr who rarely attends meetings. Wow, what a catch for UKIP.

karl williamson is a crap councillor

all councillors in crawley are crap. they should all resign and let the people rule.

Not the most constructive post read on TBG.

I'd be interested in the 'anonymous' definition of "crap".

I suspect his/her definition would include ANY councillor, wherever they are.

If so, this 'anonymous' might well need similar medical help to the previous 'anonymous' - although it would seem they are the same twat.

I don't know who anonymous is, obviously, but to hide behind anonymity and make personal attacks really doesn't make you cool, it makes you a coward.

And Richard, why the obsession with free masons?

Richard W. Symonds said...

I'm not "obsessed" with Freemasons Adam - there are far more important thing in life than Royal Working Men's Clubs and Boy Scout Movements For Grown-Ups Who Should Know Better.

The secrecy and power concerns me. They seem to be 'the elephant in the room' which can't be talked about.

The number of freemasons who are councillors, and who do not register that affiliation on their Register of Interests, should quite rightly raise eyebrows - especially in the light of this:

Richard W. Symonds is a 30th degree Freemason and is best friends with Duncan Crow.

He also is a spy for the justice party

No obsession with Freemasons as far as I'm concerned - but a few people have an obsession about my supposed obsession.

who is Richard W. Symonds he seems to know a lot about Freemasons, is he one himself or is he an undercover agent for the CIA. I think he may be a Twat

Richard W. Symonds said...

In many ways, I am indeed a "twat", but I am greatly encouraged there are greater "twats" in this world - especially anonymous ones - who talk twaddle.
