EXCLUSIVE: London Tory Youth Chairman Under Fire After 'Kitchen Cabinet' Coup.

BACKBITING and skullduggery are in order today for London Conservative Future (CF) it would seem. tbg can reveal that Leader Nabil Najjar has split his comprehensive executive leaving some members spitting feathers and others sensationally threatening to quit entirely.

tbg has acquired leaked emails which state the CF London Chairman asked most of the new executive to leave the room at the first meeting, calling what followed a "kitchen cabinet meeting".

The initial Kitchen Cabinet apparently only included some of the Chairman's closest confidants including Treasurer Richard Allen, but tbg can exclusively reveal that the London CF Kitchen Cabinet will now include 9 out of the 15 appointed officers:

London CF Leader Nabil Najjar exclusively responded to concerned Tory Youth members and told tbg - "London CF has, this year, brought on a new dynamic team of activists to form the Exec for the coming year. As with any organisation, as the size of the team grows, so to must the management structure.

"Under the new system, there will be a core team of the most senior members of the team, all of whom are very experienced both in CF and life in general. They will work with teams comprised of other exec members, working together on different projects - campaigning, membership etc.

"I will, of course, always be available to sit down with anyone on the team, and will continue to be involved in every aspect of the organisation, however I am confident that this will lead to greater support for individual officers and a more efficient network. It means each member of the team, especially the newer members, receives direct support and advice, and will ensure the whole system works effectively."

Quite how Jon Boulton (the strategy officer) qualifies as experienced in CF and life in general is beyond me. The rest of this slimmed down exec looks pretty strong but Boulton is the weak link.

Got to agree with the first comment, Boulton isn't exactly experienced of anything, unless drinking is now a required talent for the London CF exec!

Does not look too bad to me!
Don't know why he's under fire for this.

wow....when will people realise how unimportant CF is? You don't need a cabinet ffs - anyone can organise a few posh dinners and the odd campaigning day. Stop taking it so seriously. Just get on with things and stop all this infighting.

Small government. Sound.

Just thought is get the statutory jasmine comment in before someone else does! Why isn't she on nabil's exec? Is it true Allan objected to working with her? He seems to be causing a lot of gossip these days.

Najjar, Hargeraves, Borwick, Allen, Bryce, Springthorpe, Bull - all good guys with lots of experience.

Makes sense to do it like this - people like Danielle and Mahyar aren't ready to take on big jobs.

Why are there no females on Nabil's new committee? Shoddy right there.

Looks like sneaky snakey Allan has got his way with the kitchen cabinet. Oli was right about him. Rich is trouble and can't be trusted. After convincing us at the exec meeting that everything he said is right he goes and gets Nabil to agree to all these changes. NOT at all happy.

Maxwell and Richard Allen are the ones taking CF too seriously. Stop plotting against others you strange people.

P.S Maxwell or maybe we should call you Anon 2:40pm: You didn't do a good job in hiding your identity. You forgot to mention you own name in the good guys list, you silly boy. After all you're also on the kitchen cabinet

Anonymous said...

Why is this a big deal??

Anonymous said...

I wish you lot would stop acting like children, you're an embarrassment to the conservative party. You forget what you have in common are your political beliefs so you should be embracing that not trying to segregate each other. Grow up!

It's all gone to shit since that DASH left.

However Mahyar's new Twitter feed is proving quite amusing.

Comms indeed.

I like Maxwell. He's nice.

Oh please. As if DASH has absolutely anything to do with this.

Anonymous said...

Yeah alright Maxwell we get it you want to look like top dog now move along

Anonymous said...

Mahyar will take on the throne soon....

Anonymous said...

Mahyar for Chair! #topchap

Anonymous said...

The Iron throne is not for the taking by Mahyar!

The king in the North has fallen, Khaleesi is over the sea (well, Bristol in). There is still considerable dispute about who shall take the throne.

I'm just sick of Maxwell Woodger tagging everything on Facebook. WHY DO YOU DO IT? I hate Campden Ward. It's shit.

What on earth is wrong with CF folk? The hounding of other member is so obnoxious - Ridiculous comment threads naming people for no reason, abusive twitter accounts and trolls such as JallenWatch, need I go on? I for one feel so bad for Jasmine and Richard who's names are being sullied for no apparent reason! Leave each other alone and get on with your life outside playground politics! Why who jasmine is dating is the top talk of TBG is beyond me! Yes she is a stunner, but she has a lot more going for her than looks - why are we focussing on the attractiveness of female CFers instead of what their politics are? Danielle will do great things as will cordelia, it's anyone's guess why Nabil is excluding girls from his exec but at any rate why people feel the need to thrash this over TBG is a disgrace, has no one heard of talking to one another in a meeting? Christ that's probably why things are so inefficient, everything has to go through a TBG blogpost first!!!!!

FINALLY

A STORY ABOUT CONSERVATIVE FUTURE

Can tbg stop with the mickey mouse UKIP stuff and focus on CF.

OMG 10:39pm

Leave the Jasmine thing alone, I am sick of hearing about a candidate past, leave it be!

Also Campden Ward is awesome!

Hang on, has Mahyar been made Deputy Media?

Anonymous said...

Apparently

Anonymous said...

idiots. Mahyar has a deputy, whom he represents in the core team. Much like the strategy officer represents LUCC and the equalities.

Anonymous said...

Hi Nabil

Anonymous said...

@3.40

No Mahyar's the deputy media officer he's not on the core team

Anonymous said...

I think Mahyar is deputy to Jolyon, who sits on the core team.

Anonymous said...

Surely Jolyon's not Mahyar's deputy, that's ludicrous.

Anonymous said...

Someone told me that Mahyar's FB profile says he is London CF comms, doesn't that mean Jolyon is his deputy?

Anonymous said...

Stop bitching about Mahyar.

He's a Parliamentary Researcher... he doesn't even need to be LCF comms.

Anonymous said...

No. One. Gives. An. Actual. Shit.
