Outgoing CF Leader Ben Howlett set to say Goodbye at Downing Street Shindig.

Conservative Future (CF) members have started receiving invitations to outgoing Leader Ben Howlett's extravagant goodbye reception at 10 Downing Street.

The Prime Minister has requested the company of many Tories involved with the Conservatives' Youth Wing in what is set to be the glitziest night in CF history.

Ben Howlett won two landslide terms as Conservative Future Leader and presided over the largest increase in membership and branch expansion the organisation has ever seen.

I wonder how many of Ben's mates will get invited along this time, instead of those who actually work hard for the party? Cooper's takeover cant come soon enough!

i heard oily cooper was only allowed to invite one guest. diddums

Same people invited as the last Downing Street reception? Ben's chums then? It's a shame for the CF members who put a lot of work into their branches, areas and regions yet receive no acknowledgement for it. Good riddance to Howlett!

Ben has invited all of his friends who went last year. Shambles

Actually you will 80% of those coming will never have been before. Only those on National Exec and Regional College have been invited for second time. Some have had 2nd invites because of exemplary work in campaigning over the years. I hope that draws a line under the matter.

20% is still too much. There are people going who do nothing compared to some CFers in rural areas.

The people I've spoken to haven't been before and all work extremely hard for the party. There are a good number from rural areas.

It's a shame that certain people have to resort to anonymous negativity.

Pathetic comments. Those invited appear to be a mixture of new and familiar faces.

As someone who did get an invite last time I have not been invited to this one, and that's fine by me.
We have many hundreds of great hard working campaigners in CF and unfortunately we can't all fit into Number 10 at the same time.

This is obviously the reception that Robinson was given to use as campaign material.

when will howlett ever learn? you don't respond to anonymous comments!!

rise above them

"Actually you will 80% of those coming will never have been before." - Ben Howlett

Its so gratifying that he's being replaced by a chairman with a decent grasp of grammar and sentence structure. How Howlett hopes to become an MP when he can't even write simple English is beyond me! Time for #KingCooper to show #NoHopeHowlett the door!

Goodnight sweet prince

Why is Mahyar coming again then, Ben?
