Jasmine Rahman storms to victory at Tory Youth Deputy Leader hustings.

Daggers

Jasmine Rahman and #TEAMJASMINE romped home to victory last night after an electrifying performance from the contender to be National Deputy Conservative Future Chairman at the Tory Youth national election hustings in London.

Jasmine spoke about driving up membership with new and innovative ways that impressed the attendees and she came away the victor, with 38% of those polled at the end of the night.

Jasmine has been the subject of much chatter whether it positive or negative. A sure sign of popularity is when people begin to show signs that they love to hate you, as well as just love you.

CF's one and only Deputy Chairman Sarah-Jane Sewell came bottom of the pile in the hustings straw poll and now has a serious contest on her hands.

Love to hate you... nice.

I'm keeping it #TeamJamsmine on my ballot!

sj - it's over surely?

Sad to see Ellie VT's (purported) supporters starting to join in the anti-Jasmine sniping over at London Spin.

Both SJ and Ellie should strongly and publicly come out against that sort of behaviour, it only makes them look bad by association.

Let's get this straight, jasmine is now asking for the Trenton seeking sympathy vote because she parties too hard? Pathetic excuse for a candidate if you ask me. Ellie was amazing last night and deserved to win! Down with this silly teamjasmine stuff. At least keep SJ in if not Ellie, who wants a girl like jasmine? Does anyone even know what this mystery illness is? Sounds like a plot to cover up her partying ways!

Can someone tell me if jasmine is single please? She looked bloody hot last night. Never met her before but kept seeing this Tory Totty stuff online. It's true. She is one pretty girl!

No one likes an attention seeker no matter how much you party. Ellie has done so much for Devizies and deserves to win. She's doing her IB and is our branch chairman, so she has so much better experience. Ellie's done lots for us reforming our branch. Ellie to win!

What a sound bird Jasmine is. Really refreshing to see her turn up in tweed and a rugger shirt - girl after my own heart. She is pretty, has ideas and will be great for CF. how about we give her support and not trash her name? I've never met her but am appalled by some of the comments emerging.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Did you see her touch a drop of alcohol last night. We don't know what it is but it's actually sick. Shame on you.

Tweed and rugger shirt = fit.

If it was SJ or Ellie in hospital I highly doubt there would be as many rumours flying around! CF is becoming a filthy beacon of smears and attacks and regardless of who wins I think we should be supporting those that volunteer to stand for the executive rather than critiquing them on things that aren't even related with politics! For anyone who was at the hustings it's clear which candidate was the best for the role. It was also extremely upsetting to see such a lovely young girl become so unwell in such a short space of time and given the fact that this is something related to a candidate and not their campaign it is appalling that some comments have been made.

Jasmine is a wreck. She shouldn't be on the exec. SJ we live you! SJ FOR THE WIN

I'm sorry, but from all of the comments I've read on TBG, SJs supporters are vile! How does being temporarily ill make Jasmine unfit to be on the executive?! Surely it shows how driven she is, that despite her illness she is attending all the CF events, unlike SJ who I hear is too scared and lazy to attend some of the regional events. These comments are a bad reflection on SJ as a person and show her and her supporters to be immature children. I'm voting for Jasmine, the only non-teenager running and obviously the one with the most dignified and mature supporters.

AJ? Sounds like a certain friend of SJs. Makes her statement seem a little insincere when her closest friends are amongst those posting immature attacks. Control your fellow children SJ!

SJ getting your friends to comment against others, even if you're not does not put you in a good light. It shows you're discussing the election privately in a nasty way.
