EXCLUSIVE: Leaked Tory Youth Plans for Red Nose Day World Record Social Action.

tbg can exclusively reveal Conservative Future plans for a brand new social action project, being organised by the Tory Youth Brigade's one and only National Deputy Chairman Sarah-Jane Sewell.

A leaked document acquired by tbg states there is a new National Conservative Future Social Action Project set for March with - "Leading Conservatives set to attend and get involved."

It is also rumoured to have something to do with this years "Do something funny for money" Red Nose Day. Sources told tbg that Sarah-Jane Sewell is said to be planning an event that may include an attempt to set "a new world record".

One Conservative Future National Executive official told tbg even though there has been no official announcement there is a likely to attract lots of media attention.

Sarah-Jane Sewell is running for a second term as the Tory Youth Wing's National Deputy Chairman (Membership) in March and is in the midst of a heated election race. It seems Sarah's campaign tactics don't just involve words, but Action.

Leaked? Don't lie to us, we know SJ sent that in to you for some PR! She's trying to make out that she can organise events now that our favourite Tory Totty Jasmine is on the scene, but at the end of the day it's another load of hogwash. SJ is just copying Jasmine, first the hash tags now the posters, next the events! Get your own ideas girl! We all see what you're doing and your negative campaigning to little jasmine is just horrid!

Whilst I'm not backing SJ or Jasmine, can I just point out that to use campaign tactics when you are incumbent is hardly fair! Jasmine has no possible way to organise a national CF event for social action when she isn't even in the role yet. Dirty dirty dirty from whoever is behind SJ if you ask me. Using your role for reelection is fine, but to suggest other candidates can't do the same is blizzard since obviously Ellie and Jasmine don't have the capabilities to say they are running the national social action thread! Howlett should be ashamed for letting this happen and the elections are becoming worse than ever. That's why I'm not even voting this year. But wait, will I even get a ballot? Who knows, but it sure as hell will be a fix if certain people get voted in.

Any candidate can organise an event, and even make it part of their campaign as a selling point. If not elected, events can go ahead anyway. At least it'd show competence and vision.

SJS showing her might.

Sounds like something you might read in North Korea or the USSR. #TeamJasmine

If SJ truly cared about social action she'd ask to team up with Jasmine and Ellie and run the event together. That way whoever won the election, the actual social action project would take precedence and would be able to go ahead due to all their combined input! Clearly SJ just wants all the glory. Career politian as ever. Ellie and Jasmine for the win!!

Hi Everyone,

I don't comment on blog posts, however this is an exception. The comments above are extremely unfair.
Any events I organise are organised in the capacity of my current role, which involves organising social action projects.
Jasmine and Ellie are more than welcome to participate, just as every member of the party is in any event.
If anyone has any issues, rather than childishly hiding behind anonymous comments, drop me a line on sarah-jane.sewell@hotmail.co.uk - I would be more than happy to discuss things with you :)

As for the hashtag and poster comments. Did you not follow my campaign last year? My hashtags were about, as were posters, and websites before any opposing candidates so no-one is copying anyone.

All the Best,
Sarah-Jane x

SJS can say that, but her campaign looked completely different until a few days after Jasmine started her campaign. SJS was even liking comments saying why are you using hashtags on facebook... then she started using them herself when Jasmine started building up momentum. Dirty tactics as ever!

Sounds like a great idea!

At least SJ has policies and is not running an election campaign based on 'parties' 'morning afters' and being 'Tory Totty'. We need a SERIOUS person in this role. And despite what has been said SJ does not associate with smeer campaigns and has actually fought against them.

Great idea SJ! I look forward to participating :)

Give Sarah-Jane a break. Everyone can see the amount of time and effort she puts into her politics and making CF more accountable to its membership. Childish and underhand remarks about her copying others can be seen by everyone for what they really are; a blatant attempt to undermine her. Give it a rest and get on with your day ffs

'She copied me' 'She took my idea'. What bull. At least shes' actually doing something for CF. Well done to her!

For one, I think Sarah-Jane is more attractive that Jasmine - not that this is relevant to who would make a good DCM.

As for S-J's record, I think she has proved a very successful DCM, created a large number of new CF branches in our key target seat list. As well as this, she has organised a large number of high profile events and Social Actions that have benefited many people around the world and our soldiers stationed abroad.

S-J has shown to be a great DCM, and arguably the most active and best person on the current National Exec - certainly better than Smith and Howlett. I think she deserves your vote to secure re-election!

I think this will be a worthwhile event to raise money for a good cause, exactly what Social Action and the Conservative Party should be about. This completely shows how we as a Party, and as CF, ought to be leading the way on our idea of the Big Society.

Sarah-Jane has done a good job as Deputy Chairman Membership, has helped Branch creation in our key seats for the next election, and organised and supported, worthwhile causes. She has my support and I sincerely think you ought to consider giving her yours too.

And to all the Anonymous commenters and haters, don't be a keyboard warrior. If you have things you wish to say, say them openly and put your name to them! Current National Executive have done a lot to create greater transparency in CF (which with anything could always go further), perhaps you should take a leaf out of their book...

erm, is this not the most bizarre take on 'dirty tactics' ever?

"I know what I'll do, I'll play dirty, let's organise some events" .. ?!?

Sounds like a great plan. Good luck with this.

Doesn't Red Nose Day give to the Robin Hood Tax campaign?

This is all quite wearisome.

On the one hand, we have SJ supporters appearing under Jasmine articles being vicious and moronic.

Now we have Jasmine supporters treating SJ doing her job as a conspiracy theory.

Oh well, at least the election is better than last years.

For the record, it is certainly true that SJ has shown a lot more energy in her campaigning since Jasmine entered the race, but that's just what contested elections do to people. Its why contested elections are a good thing and we should all be glad that nobody is getting elected unopposed.

Good god. Sarah-Jane and every other candidate running in this election is a VOLUNTEER! We give our free time to promote the Conservative cause.
What is wrong with you people? Sniping away at those on your own side. No wonder many young people turn away in disgust from CF if this kind of anonymous bullshit is what they are subjected to, merely for organising an event.

She wants the pm to dance to Gangnam Style. Totally stupid..will make us a laughing stock. I used to be a fan until she stabbed me in the back. But im sure she will win, she is part of the bubble now

isn't that the point of "do something funny for money" and red nose day? Stop being so up tight and lighten up a bit. It's just a bit of fun to raise money.
