Leader of the Tory Youth wing Ben Howlett has announced that the youth wing of the Conservative Party's Annual conference will be held in Leeds on the weekend of April 13-14.
The 2012 CF Conference was held in Central London.
Tory Youth Leader Ben Howlett told members "Keep your eyes peeled for more details".

Sorry but what a daft time to be holding a national conference – its right in the middle of the County Council elections! Seeing as CF is nothing more than a glorified leafleting agency anyway why hold a conference in the middle of an election?! There will be plenty of CF’ers standing as candidates in 2013, it might have been more helpful to them to have had this conference a month or so before the elections… At least then candidates could be briefed, given training, have networking opportunities, etc. Instead CF seems to be shooting itself in the foot over the one thing its supposedly good at – campaigning!
We will be campaigning in Leeds as per the Campaign 2015 strategy. I would hope you would all be campaigning prior to then anyway. CF is not just a campaigning organisation, we are a social organisation too, if not we would have no campaigners to campaign for us!
